The Cleveland Indians are an American professional fake baseball franchise based in Cleveland, Ohio. They are in Major League Redditball's American League, and are one of the ten Expansion teams in the league.

2017 season[edit | edit source]

In the 2017 Inaugural Draft, the Indians selected catcher, B.B. Bambino Jr. with their first pick, 6th overall. With their second pick, the team selected center fielder, Cardith Buxton.

In Session 1 of the 2017 season, the Indians beat the Detroit Tigers 5-4, despite being down 4-1 in the 5th inning. Designated Hitter, Fernando Trouble would be the POTG by going 1-2 with a home run, walk, and 2 runs while Filthy Frank hit the go-ahead home run in the top of the 6th. In game 2, the Indians faced off against the defending American League Champions, the Oakland Athletics. Like the first game, the Indians mounted a late comeback with a 2-run home run by Bambino Jr. in a 2-1 win. Bambino Jr. was named POTG.

The team's third game would end up being the most controversial game. In their game against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, the Indians took a quick 3-0 lead off of three homers in the 2nd. However, the Devil Rays were upset when G.H. Morello celebrated his home run and jumped onto home plate to finish off his home run trot. In the bottom of the 3rd, the Devil Rays took the 5-3 lead with home runs from Dominus Nominus and Red Trapper. In the top of the 4th, Devil Rays pitcher, Ed Turner intentionally hit Morello for his home run celebration causing both Turner and Devil Rays GM, Whitt Bass to be ejected. In the bottom of the 4th, Indians pitcher, Tommy Foxconn intentionally threw into the Devil Rays dugout when Devil Rays second baseman, J.D. De Las Rosas stole home causing a brawl on the pitcher's mound between Foxconn and Rosas. Both Foxconn and Rosas were ejected. In the bottom of the 5th, Buxton injured himself by making a great catch at the wall and couldn't move after his at bat in the top of the 6th. The Indians would go on to suffer their 1st loss of the season in a Devil Rays 9-3 win.
