The Detroit Tigers are an American professional fake baseball franchise based in Detroit, Michigan. They are in Major League Redditball's American League, and are one of the twelve Inaugural teams in the league. They were founded by Zum Boehner and are currently helmed by John Johnson Jr. Boehner has since been inducted into the Tigers Hall of Fame.

Seasons 1 and 2[edit | edit source]

The Detroit Tigers were a later addition to the inaugural league lineup. In the 2017 Inaugural Draft, the Tigers picked Valentino Rollin with the 6th overall pick.

Through the first three games of the 2017 season, the Tigers posted a 3-0 record against the Orioles, Twins, and Mets, all of whom posted an 0-3 record through their first three games. The Tigers were handed their first loss in session 4 by the Philadelphia Phillies. The Tigers finished the shortened season 4-3, and did not qualify for the Paper Cup final.

Through the first ten games in the second MLR season, the Tigers are 2-8. So far, their best player has been LF Morris Deratt, going 7/16 with 2 HR and 2 triples, good for a 1.651 OPS and .648 wOBA, and representing the Tigers in the first MLR All-Star game.
