G.H. Morello (born 09/11/1992), known also as Morello, is an American professional fake baseball shortstop for the Cleveland Indians of Major League Redditball.

Background[edit | edit source]

Morello was born in Dallas, TX and was raised as a Texas Rangers fan. On the night of Game 6 of the 2011 World Series, Morello turned to the dark side after his heart was destroyed by a David Freese RBI Triple and walk-off Home Run. His hatred for all Rangers opponents was fueled after the Jose Bautista batflip in Game 5 of the 2015 American League Division Series and the Houston Astros winning the 2017 World Series. Morello became destined to achieve immortality by winning the big one, the Paper Cup. Because of his evil deeds and prideful behavior, he is constantly feared and hated by all who face off against the Cleveland Indians. Morello was selected to play for the Goldies in a showcase game where he hit a 2-run home run to help the Goldies beat the Futures 7-0. However, he initiated a bench brawl when he celebrated the win causing him to be drafted 45th in the MLR Draft by the Cleveland Indians.

2017 Season[edit | edit source]

Morello made his debut for the Indians in Session 1 of the 2018 Season against the Detroit Tigers. He had a rough start going 0-4 to start the season, but in his 1st AB of Session 3, he got his 1st MLR hit, a home run in Tampa Bay against the Devil Rays. While Morello was happy to hit a home run, the Devil Rays retaliated by hitting him with a pitch in his next at bat. In Session 4 against the Phillies, Morello made his debut as a leadoff hitter. Morello proceeded to hit his second home run at first, but upon further review, it turned out to be a ground rule double. In the bottom of the fifth, Phillies pitcher Oliver Yu proceeded to hit Morello with a pitch prompting the Indians to file a complaint that teams are being biased against the Indians. Despite the HBP, Morello had a good game at the plate as he had a double, a walk, and a sacrifice fly in a 9-0 win over the Phillies. Even if Morello doesn't hit well, he is seen as an unofficial cheerleader for the Cleveland Indians and has fired up his team when the time is right.
