H.B. Boink (November 8) is a professional Fake Baseball shortstop for the Montreal Expos. Boink was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the fourth round of the 2017 Inaugural Draft as a contact hitting, right-handed shortstop.

2017 Season[edit | edit source]

Boink started all seven sessions at shortstop and batted lead-off in six out of seven sessions for the Atlanta Braves. He excelled at getting basehits; although, he struggled to hit anything besides singles, only getting one extra base hit all season. Boink's defense is rated above-average due to the range that he is able to cover when fielding batted balls. His elite fielding ability is counteracted with his average arm strength and accuracy, which is the reason why his defensive rating is above-average.

Milestones[edit | edit source]

    • Boink's first hit was a single in the bottom of the fourth inning during Session 1 of the 2017 season. In the same inning, he also got his first run on a single by Sadlier Oriole
