Just 8 days after he was signed, Corbett was traded to the Boston Red Sox.

Early Life[edit | edit source]

Professional Career[edit | edit source]

During Session 2 of MLR Season 2, Corbett became an official Free Agent. Within hours of being added to the list, Corbett signed a minor league contract with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and was assigned to the Savannah Bananas. At the conclusion of Session 2, Corbett was recalled to the Devil Rays without having a single plate appearance with Savannah. Corbett was recalled to replace Anatoli Smorin, who was placed on the hiatus list to deal with an urgent family matter. In his first game with the Devil Rays, Corbett went 2-for-2 with 2 singles and 2 runs scored. Following the game, it was announced that Corbett, along with Jay Money, Grigury Polinko, and Wade Wilson, had been traded to the Boston Red Sox in exchange for Basebally McBaseballface and Demondre Bradford.
