Miguel Snow (born 2006), sometimes referred to by his nickname Big Dog, is a Ugandan professional fake baseball third baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Redditball. He was originally drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 2017 MLR Inaugural Draft. Snow is known for his long drought without a hit, having gone the whole 2017 MLR season without one, albeit in only 9 professional at bats. J.A. Bird has still named him the Phillies starting third baseman, however, especially after the trading of Wei-Chen Rodriguez.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

Miguel Snow was born in the village of Gem, Uganda on September 8th, 2006 (12 years old). He was the 19th of 36 children and counting. Miguel grew up in a religious household, he was taught to know the way of the devil at an early age, and actively worships his queen and follows his commander. At age 11 Snow followed his commander to the United States on a crusade where his commander took a liking to Redditball. Commander decided to take Snow to a game. Snow fell in love with the sport.

2017 Season[edit | edit source]

Miguel Snow began his rookie season as the starting third baseman for the Minnesota Twins, to whom he was drafted 49th overall. In his debut game, Snow versed the Philadelphia Phillies, and went 0-for-2 with 1 strikeout against pitcher Cy Hadd. Snow would only get 5 more at-bats with the Twins organization over 5 more sessions and would strike out in four of them.

Following Session 6 of the 2017 season, Snow was involved in a 6-team trade. He was shipped to the Phillies alongside Gil Metz and Obiwan Canoli. He started in Session 7, where he would get on base for the first time in his career with a walk, and deliver his first career run scored. The Phillies would win that game 10-6.
