Pete Wheeler (born April 12, 195), nicknamed mcast, or simply cast, is an American professional fake baseball Center Fielder for the Minnestoa Twins of Major League Redditball. He was an un-drafted free agent signed by the Minnesota Twins after the first session of the 2017 Inaugural Draft. He was recently named the head of scouting, as well as one of the captains for the Minnesota Twins

2017 Season[edit | edit source]

Pete Wheeler was signed by the Minnesota Twins to be an off the bench power threat they desperately needed. After getting his first start against the Arizona Diamondbacks in Session three of the 2017 season where he picked up his first career hit and finishing the game 1-3, it was rough sailing for the rest of the season. Wheeler wouldn't pick up another hit till Session six of the 2017 season against the Houston Astros. Wheeler and the Minnesota Twins ended the year on a high note, winning their last three games to finish the year, and even spoil the Atlanta Braves playoff chances. Wheeler is looking to build off this momentum, and help the Minnesota Twins win some more ball games with some more stellar defense, and improving his offensive numbers as well.

Wheeler was snubbed of a Gold Glove nomination based on the fact that he only played in five games despite showing incredible range, and the ability to put his body on the line to make some game saving catches. Wheeler now a starter looks to continue this remarkable defensive play and win multiple Gold Gloves in his career.
