Tim Burr (born ???) is an American professional fake baseball pitcher for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Redditball. He signed as a free agent before Session 5 of the 2017 season, which he started for the Twins soon thereafter. Despite some uncertainty over his ability, Burr received the first win in Minnesota Twins history.

2017 Season[edit | edit source]

Burr was quietly signed by the Twins after a long time on the free agent market. As a fringe inning-eater, many expected him to crumble under the explosive Arizona Diamondbacks offense. The young pitcher did the opposite, however, in his Session 5 debut. He pitched 3.1 innings and gave up 0 runs, with 5 strikeouts. This pitching performance paved the way for a shutout, one finished by Hudson Quin, who earned the save. Burr quickly became lauded by the Minnesota fanbase for his strong first start, though many thought it was a fluke. The 'Burr Rule' was set amongst early league statkeepers, lead by the mystical head statkeeper known as The Admiral, who stated that Game Scores needed a limit of 2 starts to be counted on the statboards, after Burr's small-sample success would put him above more-seasoned pitchers.

Burr would start Session 6 against the Houston Astros. Burr held them scoreless for 5 innings before giving up his first earned run, a home run from Triston Uzumaki.
